Congratulations to Roger Partridge who received his award for 50 years service yesterday.
Roger has been a welder at Portsmouth Aviation for his entire career and is a valued company employee.
Roger is the sixth person to receive this rare award so to mark the occasion the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Dame Mary Fagan, came to the Portsmouth Aviation offices in order to present Roger with a voucher for a holiday and a specially commissioned plaque to mark the occasion.
On hand to join the congratulations were various representatives of the teams who have worked with Roger throughout the years, and Roger’s wife and daughter, both of whom were delighted that his achievement and commitment were recognised.
Simon Escott, of Portsmouth Aviation, said the following of Roger’s achievement. “We’re always proud of the loyalty of our staff and we’re glad that we have created a working environment that encourages such commitment from the people that work here. People like Roger make an invaluable contribution to the success of Portsmouth Aviation and we’re delighted that we could mark this special day.”
